Findery is operated by SHMONEY GALACTIC LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), a New Jersey limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use findery.io and any tenant workspaces hosted on our platform (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up for Findery, we collect your name, email address, business name, and approximate team size. If you add team members, we collect their names and email addresses.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. We retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.
Customer Content
When you connect data sources (Help Scout, Circle, ClickUp, YouTube, or others), we ingest, index, and store the content from those platforms in a dedicated database provisioned for your workspace. This includes article text, lesson content, document pages, video metadata, and video transcripts. We refer to this collectively as “Customer Content.”
Usage Data
We collect basic server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, pages visited) for operational and security purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers on tenant workspaces.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie (rs_role) to authenticate logged-in users. This cookie is HTTP-only, secure, and scoped to your workspace domain. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process your subscription payments via Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account verification, login links, team invitations, password resets, support ticket confirmations)
- Respond to support requests
- Monitor for security threats and abuse
- Generate AI-powered search results and answers from your Customer Content
3. How We Protect Your Information
- Encryption at rest: All API keys and tenant secrets are encrypted with AES-128 (Fernet) before storage. The master encryption key is stored only in the server’s operating system environment, never in the database.
- Encryption in transit: All connections use TLS (HTTPS). We use Caddy with automatic certificate management.
- Database isolation: Each tenant gets a dedicated PostgreSQL database. Your data is never commingled with another tenant’s data.
- Password security: User passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds) and never stored in plaintext.
- Access control: Per-user role-based access (admin, team, anonymous) enforced on every request.
4. We Will Never Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, license, or otherwise commercially distribute your Customer Content or personal information to any third party. Period.
Your content is yours. We access it only to provide the Service (indexing, search, AI answers) and for technical support when you request it.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Findery:

We do not share your data with any third parties beyond what is necessary to operate these services.
6. Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- Canceled subscriptions: Your workspace data is retained for 30 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation.
- Expired trials: Trial data is retained for 14 days after expiration, then scheduled for deletion.
- Deletion requests: You may request deletion of all your data by contacting us. We will process deletion within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your Customer Content (contact us for assistance)
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing

8. Children’s Privacy
Findery is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
